The EU Climate Ideathon 2026 program, organized by the European Union Delegation to Turkey, aims to encourage university students to develop innovative, feasible, and sustainable solutions in the areas of combating and adapting to climate change.
The Kayseri local phase of the program, which will be carried out simultaneously in 18 provinces across Türkiye, will be coordinated by the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce European Union Information Center.
Within the scope of the program, university students will have the opportunity to develop climate-focused project ideas through expert training, mentorship support, interdisciplinary teamwork, idea generation sessions, and jury presentations. Teams that are successful in the local stage will be eligible to participate in the national final program, which will be held in Antalya between November 9-20, 2026, as part of COP31.
The program is open to graduate students who are under 29 years of age as of the application date. Applications can be submitted individually or in teams of four.
