Important Note: Students who wish to have their courses credited (equivalent) must apply for equivalency through the student information system before registering for courses.

Our institute will conduct course equivalency (transfer of credits) procedures for students who have completed their final registration for the Spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year via sis.kayseri.edu.tr/oibs/std/login.aspx between February 9-13, 2026. Regarding course equivalency (transfer of credits) procedures:

1. According to Articles 10/1 and 2 of the Kayseri University Graduate Education and Training Regulations:

I. A student enrolled in a program may have courses taken and successfully completed in another graduate program, as well as a doctoral qualifying examination course, credited, subject to the approval of the department/division head and the decision of the Institute's Board of Directors. Courses taken in a previously completed graduate program cannot be credited towards the courses taken in the program in which the student is enrolled.

II. The total number of courses that can be credited in postgraduate programs cannot exceed 4 courses or 30 ECTS credits. In integrated doctoral and proficiency in arts programs accepted with a bachelor's degree, it cannot exceed 8 courses or 60 ECTS credits.

2. Students who meet the criteria specified in articles 8/(a,b,c) of the "Seminar Course Implementation and Course Passing Principles" may be exempted from the "Seminar" course (by the Department Heads' Adaptation Committee) provided they submit proof of publication.

3. Ders Saydırma (İntibak) işlemi, Programa kayıt olduktan sonra 1 defaya mahsus olmak üzere yapıldığından, başvuru yapmayan öğrenciler ders saydırma (intibak) haklarından vazgeçmiş sayılırlar.
